Cross Stitch Patterns from your Family Photos


Would you like to create a unique gift for someone special?

We can create a cross stitch pattern from any photo you have. Our scanning facilities can handle photographs up to A3 size.

Your choice of fabric - Aida, Evenweave or Linen.

Your choice of detail - for example 14, 18, 27 or 32 holes to the inch.

If you wish to, please also nominate the approximate finished size you require for the pattern (the bigger the size the greater the detail - but also the greater the amount of stitching for you to do). If you decide not to nominate a size we will work one out for you based on experience.

The price is Ten Pounds per chart. For this you receive the chart and a list of the threads you will need (your choice of Anchor, DMC or Madeira). The price includes postage & packing within the UK (First class post) and surface mail to international destinations. For air mail delivery please add One Pound.

Just send your photograph (a COPY, not your precious original) together with your requirements for fabric, detail and thread type (and finished size if you wish), plus a cheque (Sterling cheques only please, drawn on a UK bank and payable to GJ & J Hadfield) to GJ & J Hadfield, JiGraH Resources, 85 Heythrop Drive, Acklam, Middlesbrough, TS5 8QX, England. Please make sure that you include your return address - and an e-mail address and/or telephone number if possible, just in case there are any problems.

Please note that, by prior arrangement, we can have an A4 scanner with us at fairs and open days so can scan photos for creation of patterns whilst you wait. That way your precious originals never leave your possession. Here is a link to the Fairs and Open Days we have diaried.
