TreeDraw Charts


The two options we have for printing basic charts (i.e. no photographs/graphics) from TreeDraw are detailed below.

All the prices quoted include postage & packing within the UK (First class post) and surface mail to international destinations. For air mail delivery and/or insurance cover above the standard £34.00 (GBP 34) please e-mail us for price details by clicking on send mail to Graham @ JiGraH.

Recorded or Special Delivery (if required) will be charged, in addition, at cost. At the time of writing these are:


Charts up to A3 size can be laminated for only £2.00 (GBP 2) extra.

Extra copies of charts will be supplied for half the price of the original chart if ordered at the same time for delivery to the same address. Subsequent orders of extra charts will be supplied for half the price of the original chart plus a postage & packing charge of £2.00 (GBP 2.00) per address within the UK (First class post) and surface mail to international destination (please e-mail for air mail prices).

Copies of the chart in .pdf format, which can not be printed but which can be viewed using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader, will be supplied by e-mail for £20 (GBP 20) or on CD for £21 (GBP 21) including postage & packing.


Option 1

Firstly we can print out charts which you have prepared using your own copy of TreeDraw. The cost is Five Pounds (GBP 5) per A3 page equivalent with a £15 (GBP 15) minimum charge. Charts printed on the banner paper which are equivalent to 5 to 9 pages will attract a 10% discount and for 10 pages or more we will give at least 20% discount.

To help you format the chart correctly here are the printer settings which you need to use.

Once you have formatted your chart using your copy of TreeDraw send it to us on disk or CD or as an e-mail attachment. We will load a screenshot of your chart - or part(s) of it if it is a really large chart - or even the whole lot in several parts - to a special web page where you can view it before confirming.
To pay for your chart you can either accompany your disk/CD with a cheque (Sterling cheques only please, drawn on a UK bank and made out to GJ & J Hadfield) for the appropriate amount to 85 Heythrop Drive, Acklam, Middlesbrough, TS5 8QX, England or we can set up a one-off facility on the preview web page for you to pay by credit/debit card via PayPal.

Please make sure that you include your return address and/or an e-mail address and/or telephone number if possible, just in case there are any problems. If you have any queries you can e-mail us by clicking on send mail to Graham @ JiGraH.


Option 2

Secondly we can format the charts for you from your Gedcom file. If you do not have TreeDraw we can still produce your charts for you so long as you can supply a Gedcom extract from the genealogy program you use.

For a straightforward descendant or ancestor chart the cost will be a maximum of Fifteen Pence (GBP 0.15) per individual in the resulting chart on top of the prices quoted above.

We can also undertake composite charts - the cost depending on the amount of work involved.

Just send us your Gedcom as an e-mail attachment or on floppy disk or CD (to the address above) together with details of the starting person, the information you wish to be included for each person and whether you want a Descendant, Ancestor or other type of chart and we will work out the total cost so that you can decide if you wish to go ahead.
