When Marion sent me the information we compared notes on our transcripts for Glossop which we had both undertaken but from different sources. Most of the information was consistent but there were some differences. This highlights two lessons, neither new but worth repeating:

Transcripts are finding aids, always check the original records
Check as many original records as possible (e.g. both Parish Registers and Bishops' Transcripts).
