Aberdeen, Banff, Kincardine, Moray & Nairn Trades Directory, 1937-38.

This issue of the Trades Directory series is unusual in that, following the usual Trades Directory (with entries sorted by trade within town), is a County Supplement which contains "exhaustive lists of the County Councillors, Landowners, Professional Gentlemen, County Residents and Farmers. This section is arranged alphabetically according to Parishes buy (with a few exceptions) does not include residents in Municipal or Parliamentary Burghs.". The original publication includes a Gazetteer of Scotland - this has not been reproduced on the CD. The sections within the directory on the CD are: Aberdeen Municipal, Clerical & Medical Directory; Trades Directories for Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Banffshire, Kincardinshire, Morayshire, Nairnshire; County Supplement.

Aberdeenshire section includes: Aberdeen, Aboyne, Alford, Ballater, Braemar, Bucksburn, Culter, Cults & Bieldside, Cuminestown, Ellon, Fraserburgh, Fyvie, Huntly, Insch, Inverurie, Kemnay, Kintore, Lumphanan, Lumsden, Maud, New Pitsligo, Old Meldrum, Peterhead, Rhynie, Rosehearty, Strichen, Tarland, Torohons & Turiff.
Banffshire section includes: Aberchirder, Aberlour, Banff, Buckie, Craigellachie, Cullen, Dufftown, Findochty, Keith, Macduff, Portknockie & Tomintoul.
Kincardineshire section includes: Auchinblae, Banchory, Inverbevie, Johnshaven, Laurencekirk & Stonehaven.
Morayshire & Nairnshire sections include: Archiestown, Burghead, Elgin, Fochabers, Forres, Grantown-on-Spey, Hopeman, Lossiemouth, Nairn & Rothes.

Some of the scanned pages appear not to be straight. This is a feature of the original book rather than the scanning process. Some page corners appear to be clipped. That is a result of having to angle the page to counter skew printing.

Price £10.00 (GBP 10.00) plus £1.00 (GBP 1) postage & packing (first class within the UK and by air mail to customers outside the UK).
