The date has been estimated from the facts that it shows the Civic Hall (opened 1933), the Wellington & New stations (combined 2 May 1938) are shown separately and there is a previous owner's inscription dated "14.1.38".The approximate area covered is from Bramhope, Harewood Park & Bardsey in the north to Morley, Middleton and Oulton Park in the south and from Rodley & Pudsey in the west to Scarcroft, Cross Gates and Woodlesford in the east. The scale of the original map is 4 inches to the mile. The map was scanned at 200 dpi and saved onto the CD as 20 overlapping tiles. The CD also contains the 32 page Street Index from the original publication. |
