Fieldings in Glossop - Page 1

This page shows my Fielding ancestors in Glossop in Derbyshire, England. I acknowledge the help of my cousin Bev in the gathering and analysis of the data. All being well the analysis is accurate but if there are mistakes they are mine alone. Like everyone else, I'm human (honest) so please use this list as it is intended and check back against the original documents to be sure. Happy hunting.
We have a theory that John Fielding below is descended from a Nicholas Fielding who, in turn, was the son of Thurstan Fielding. As yet, however, we have no proof. Also probably descended from Nicholas is a Jeremy/Jeremiah Fielding. An analysis of his line is on Fielding Page 2.

Analysis/notes of further Fielding entries from the Glossop parish registers are on Fielding Page 3.

I welcome any comments or contact from other researchers of 'my' names. To get in touch all you have to do is to click on send mail to Graham @ JiGraH.
