1. Jeremy Fielding b. ca 1721, occ: Husbandman & labourer, bur: 3 Sep 1797, Glossop. Parish register gives his age as 76 when he died. He lived in Whitfield and is named as Jeremiah in some records.

2. Mary Fielding bpt: 16 Mar 1755, Glossop, m. Joseph Moss, (son of Thomas Moss) occ: Cotton spinner. Parish register for the bpt uses the name Molly. Joseph: Parish register entries descirbe him as of Whitfield.

3. Elizabeth Fielding b. 1758, bpt: 20 May 1758, Glossop, m. 24 Jan 1779, in Glossop, Robert Wood, bpt: 10 Oct 1753, Glossop, (son of Robert Wood and Alice Wood) occ: Tailor, bur: 30 Dec 1801, Glossop (see family #5 on the first Wood Page). Elizabeth died 21 May 1825, bur: 25 May 1825, Glossop. Parish register entry for bpt uses the name Betty. Robert: Parish register entries describe him as of Whitfield & Whitfield Green and say he died aged 47.

4. Hannah Fielding m. 26 Dec 1784, in Glossop, Joseph Wood, (son of Robert Wood and Martha Heginbottam) occ: Slater, bur: 30 Oct 1831, Glossop (see family #6 on the first Wood Page). Joseph: Parish register entries describe him as of Lane End, Whitfield and that he was aged 70 when he died.

5. John Fielding b. 1762, occ: Clothier, m. 16 Feb 1790, in Glossop, Sarah Moss, (daughter of Thomas Moss). John died 1827, bur: 16 Jan 1827, Glossop. Parish register entries describe him as of Whitfield, Hurst and Nook and give his age when he died as 65. He was possibly married first to Mary Newton on 1 Nov 1787. She died on 29 Sep 1788, aged 18, and was buried on 1 Oct 1788 at Glossop.

6. Nanny Fielding m. James Smith. James: Parish register entries describe him as of Moorside and of Glossop.

7. James Fielding b. 23 Mar 1795, bpt: 28 Jun 1795, Glossop, occ: Cotton spinner, m. Mary (Fielding). Parish register entries for bpts of the first 5 children describe him as "of Whitfield"; for bpts of Betty & Rowland he is described as "of Hayfield".

8. Christopher Fielding bpt: 2 Apr 1820, Glossop, m. Mary Ann (Fielding).
