Bradburys in the Glossop Area

A Jordan Bradbury married a descendant of "my" Robinsons of Gnat Hole. He wasn't one of those on this page but, given the unusual name, there could well be a connection ( see family #3 on the Robinsons of Gnat Hole Page).

3. Thomas Bradbury m. (1) unknown, m. (2) 24 Mar 1719, in St Mary's, Glossop, Derbys, Eng, Jane Bowden of Woodseats, bur: 29 Apr 1724, St Thomas', Mellor, Derbys, Eng. Thomas bur: 10 Jul 1767, St Thomas', Mellor, Derbys, Eng.
Children by unknown:
- i Barbara Bradbury. Name from Father's Will - Barbara Scott. Inherited 1 guinea. Lived in Bradley, Staffordshire.
- ii Winifred Bradbury ( see family #6 on the Thornley/Thorniley Page).
- iii Sarah Bradbury. Mentioned in Father's Will - Sarah's husband, David Rowbottom inherited land at Hill Top. She was Executrix of the Estate along with Winifred Thornley.
- iv Elizabeth Bradbury. Unverified baptism date 10 Sep 1727 at Mellor, Derbys.
